About the atoll

What Haa Alif is for, and what it isn't.

Haa Alif is the northernmost stretch of the Maldives, a full degree of latitude above the rest of the country. The atoll sits on its own, closer to India than to Male. The journey here is deliberate, and the payoff is an emptiness that the central atolls cannot offer.

Resort density is low. The three properties on the atoll sit on private islands with their own coral gardens and untouched house reefs. The lagoons are wide, the water clarity is high, and the sense of remoteness is genuine.
